Claims decision benchmarking
Claims decision benchmarking compares an adjuster’s or team’s decisions against a reference, whether the team’s own best practice, precedent, or a validated model, to find where calls drift and where to target training and process fixes.
Instead of measuring speed or volume, it measures the quality of the decision: how a split, reserve or coverage call compares to how it should have been made.
Why it matters
You can only improve decisions you can measure. Benchmarking turns decision quality from an opinion into a number you can manage.
