Also known as Decision-ready claim
A claim is decision-ready when everything an adjuster needs to make the call is gathered, structured and cross-checked: the file is complete, the evidence is attached, and nothing is left to chase.
Claims arrive as a pile. An FNOL, phone photos, a statement, an estimate, spread across several channels. A decision-ready claim is that pile turned into one clean case, with the gaps filled and the sources reconciled, so the adjuster starts from a decision instead of a folder of PDFs.
Why it matters
Most of the time and cost in claims goes into the work around the decision: reading, chasing, assembling. Getting a claim decision-ready removes that work and frees the adjuster to spend their time on the judgment.
